The free open-source library called Physiolibrary (https://github.com/MarekMatejak/Physiolibrary) in version 3.0 recast components from physiological domains such as hydraulic (cardiovascular), thermal, osmotic and chemical into Modelica Standard Library (MSL) concept of Fluid/Media. Components are expanded to include gases transports, acid-base, electrolytes, nutrients delivery and endocrines by simple selecting pre-packaged media. They can be connected directly (the same medium) or across membranes (different media), allowing small physiological models to be easily coupled within more quantitative ones with minimal effort.Downloads
