Focus

The Congress, held every three years, is a well established platform for Swedish aerospace technology. Its goals are to promote research, support technical and industrial development in the aerospace sector and stimulate graduate and post-graduate education in this field.

Scope

The Congress' scope is to advance Swedish aerospace technology by addressing challenges such as sustainable aviation, next-generation fighter aircraft, autonomous aerial systems and space exploration. Key topics include propulsion technologies, aircraft and spacecraft systems, drones and sustainable aerospace solutions. The Congress will feature plenary lectures, technical sessions and networking opportunities.

Peer Review Process

For those who decide to prepare and publish a full paper, the Congress offers a peer review process to ensure the quality and relevance of contributions. Accepted papers will be included in the Congress Proceedings, which will be made available on the DiVA portal through Linköping Electronic Press with ISBN and DOI. The Swedish Aerospace Research Center (SARC) will oversee the review process to guarantee scientific and technical excellence. SARC is a strategic collaboration network between Swedish leading universities and research organisations focused on aerospace technology.

The review process consists of following steps:

  • The Section Editor chooses 2 reviewers for the paper.
  • The review deadline is set up to 4 weeks.
  • Reviewers will be anonymous.
  • Based on the reviews, the Section Editor will make recommendations for the paper:
    • Acceptance for publication as it is
    • Acceptance for publication subject to minor revisions
    • Revise and Resubmit (with major revisions) and
    • Rejection
  • The final submission will be screened before final acceptance.
